Projects not managed correctly can be chaotic leading to unhappy clients and disastrous consequences. Learn how to use Base-camp to do all the wonderful things needed to run a project smoothly, on time and on budget. Topics will include: timelines, project documentation, todo/project templates, communication, scope, scope creep, working with clients and potentially also covering QA, writing requirements + working with 3rd-parties, etc.

Beverly takes the lead in keeping project teams focused, on schedule, efficient, accountable, and motivated. She interfaces kindly and equally with developers, designers, writers and clients, in the pursuit of the finely crafted final product, delivered on schedule. Expectations are very high that all parties will be exceptionally satisfied with the project.

Beverly’s curiosity and need to know “why” keeps her current in many facets of her life, while her background in design and management make her an excellent fit for website and creative development projects. She has taught design software at community colleges, as well as managed print and web projects for over 19 years, has led the team at Scullytown for nearly three years, and has worked with TopFloorStudio before as a project manager. Beverly holds a degree in Organization Development from The Union Institute and University.

Tena is the Director of Project Management at TopFloorStudio and will be supporting Beverly during the class.

Classes are $40 for two two-hour sessions.
